Make A "Flat You!"

Make your own Flat Stanley, but creating a flat version of yourself! You can choose from one of these templates, just print one out! Or you can make one with just a pencil and a piece of paper! They are fun to make and allow you to get creative. Once you've made one, make sure to take it on your trips, or send it to friends and family! Plus, you can send pictures to me to be featured on my page!

*To print one of these templates, right click on the picture, click "Open image in new tab," and once in a new tab, you can print a full page image of the template, just like you would print any content from a computer.

Flat Miss Osche Goes to Europe!

This summer (2019) Flat Miss Osche is headed over to Europe! She will be visiting three countries    -but I won't tell you until she gets there. She's lucky enough to have Miss Osche's brother, Matt, take her along on his trip. Look's like it's going to be a lot of fun! You can also track where Flat Miss Osche has been on her  Travel Map ! It will show you where she started and where she is now!

Who is Flat Miss Osche?

Hello! My name is Miss Osche and I am an elementary school teacher in Virginia! I have always loved getting to know cultures and places locally and around the world, and I wanted to incorporate that into my classroom. I have been lucky enough to know people all over the world and they have been showing Flat Miss Osche their part of the world! I am excited to share Flat Miss Osche's travels with my class and now you! My students and I will be creating "flat" versions of ourselves to "travel" to different places. Once we make them, we will mail them to family and friends who live in places we wouldn't normally be able to visit. It allows us to travel in a sense and learn about new and exciting places! We will be uploading the adventures here so that we can easily see and keep track of all the new and exciting adventures they take. I was inspired by the Flat Stanley  book series by Jeff Brown and through this interactive project with my class, I plan to in...

Ciao from Milan, Italy!

Flat Miss Osche's first stop on her European trip this summer was to Milan, Italy. She stayed with Sergio, who took her and Matt sightseeing. Sergio is another one of Miss Osche's brothers who is currently working in Milan. They had an awesome time and Flat Miss Osche learned a lot!  Milan is famous for a lot of things, but one of the most beautiful is the Duomo di Milano , which is a huge cathedral. Milan is also home to the  Sforzesco Castle which is a Medieval-Renaissance fortress. They also made sure to check out the art gallery  Pinacoteca di Brera . And of course, they had delicious food! Outside of the Duomo!                                          Walking around the city with Matt and Sergio. Sergio loved having guests!  This is outside of the Sforzesco Castle Here's a look inside Pinacoteca di Brera
